Les mouvements commencent par les plus \u00e9l\u00e9mentaires de la position ventrale, de la position dorsale, de la position assise et de la position debout, et progressent graduellement vers des mouvements plus avanc\u00e9s.<sup id=\"cite_ref-:0_1-3\" class=\"reference\"><a href=\"#cite_note-:0-1\">(1)<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n<p>Au cours de l&rsquo;\u00e9valuation, l&rsquo;\u00e9valuateur observe les mouvements de l&rsquo;enfant et note chaque item comme \u00e9tant \u00ab observ\u00e9 \u00bb ou \u00ab non observ\u00e9 \u00bb. Il n&rsquo;est pas possible de donner des points au patient pour des sch\u00e9mas de mouvement \u00ab \u00e9mergents \u00bb. <u>On ne doit pas<\/u> accorder des points au patient pour des \u00e9l\u00e9ments rapport\u00e9s par les parents ou les personnes qui s&rsquo;occupent de lui.<\/p>\n<p>Le mouvement le moins avanc\u00e9 et celui le plus avanc\u00e9 observ\u00e9s dans chaque position (d\u00e9cubitus ventral, d\u00e9cubitus dorsal, assis, debout) constituent la \u00ab fen\u00eatre motrice \u00bb ou \u00ab fen\u00eatre de cotation \u00bb du patient dans la position donn\u00e9e. Tous les mouvements compris dans la \u00ab fen\u00eatre motrice \u00bb pour chaque position doivent \u00eatre not\u00e9s comme \u00ab observ\u00e9 \u00bb (O) ou \u00ab non observ\u00e9 \u00bb (NO).<sup id=\"cite_ref-:1_2-7\" class=\"reference\"><a href=\"#cite_note-:1-2\">(2)<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;\u00e9valuateur attribue un point au patient pour chaque mouvement \u00ab observ\u00e9 \u00bb dans chacune des \u00ab fen\u00eatres motrices \u00bb. La cote cumul\u00e9e des quatre positions donne la cote totale (\u00ab total score \u00bb). La cote totale est enregistr\u00e9e en fonction de l&rsquo;\u00e2ge corrig\u00e9 du patient sur un graphique de donn\u00e9es normatives pour la fonction motrice du nourrisson. Le graphique de la <i>Figure 3<\/i> indique les normes des centiles (5<sup>e<\/sup>,10<sup>e<\/sup>,25<sup>e<\/sup>, 50<sup>e<\/sup>, 75<sup>e<\/sup>, 90<sup>e<\/sup>) de la fonction motrice du nourrisson.
