L&rsquo;EER implique des mouvements de l&rsquo;ensemble du corps, et ces mouvements ont des effets b\u00e9n\u00e9fiques similaires \u00e0 ceux d&rsquo;autres exercices tels que la marche, et peuvent, avec le temps, am\u00e9liorer la <a title=\"Strength Training\" href=\"\/Strength_Training\">force<\/a> et la condition physique <sup id=\"cite_ref-1\" class=\"reference\"><a href=\"#cite_note-1\">(1) <\/a><\/sup><sup id=\"cite_ref-:0_2-0\" class=\"reference\"><a href=\"#cite_note-:0-2\">(2) <\/a><\/sup>. L&rsquo;EER a le potentiel d&rsquo;am\u00e9liorer simultan\u00e9ment plusieurs aspects de la sant\u00e9 physique <sup id=\"cite_ref-:0_2-1\" class=\"reference\"><a href=\"#cite_note-:0-2\">(2)<\/a><\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>De nombreux programmes d&rsquo;\u00e9quilibre ont anciennement cibl\u00e9 uniquement les composantes statiques et dynamiques de l&rsquo;\u00e9quilibre, sans se pr\u00e9occuper de la composante r\u00e9active <sup id=\"cite_ref-3\" class=\"reference\"><a href=\"#cite_note-3\">(3) <\/a><\/sup>. Cependant, le facteur dominant des chutes est le fait de glisser ou de tr\u00e9bucher en marchant <sup id=\"cite_ref-4\" class=\"reference\"><a href=\"#cite_note-4\">(4) <\/a><\/sup>. Des r\u00e9actions d&rsquo;\u00e9quilibre appropri\u00e9es et opportunes sont essentielles pour la stabilit\u00e9 apr\u00e8s une perte d&rsquo;\u00e9quilibre <sup id=\"cite_ref-:1_5-0\" class=\"reference\"><a href=\"#cite_note-:1-5\">(5) <\/a><\/sup>. En tant que physioth\u00e9rapeute, il existe de nombreuses fa\u00e7ons d&rsquo;\u00e9valuer l&rsquo;\u00e9quilibre, mais l&rsquo;<a title=\"Berg Balance Scale\" href=\"\/Berg_Balance_Scale\">\u00c9chelle d\u2019\u00e9valuation de l\u2019\u00e9quilibre de Berg<\/a> est une mesure de r\u00e9sultat utile et peut pr\u00e9dire le risque de chute chez les personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es <sup id=\"cite_ref-8\" class=\"reference\"><a href=\"#cite_note-8\">(8) <\/a><\/sup><sup id=\"cite_ref-9\" class=\"reference\"><a href=\"#cite_note-9\">(9) <\/a><\/sup>. Une force est appliqu\u00e9e sur le patient. Les forces peuvent \u00eatre internes ou externes et celles-ci perturbent le centre de gravit\u00e9 du patient. C&rsquo;est le patient lui-m\u00eame qui i) manque de contr\u00f4le, ii) a une mauvaise coordination, iii) n&rsquo;est pas suffisament conscient de son centre de gravit\u00e9 iv) n&rsquo;a pas une r\u00e9ponse motrice ad\u00e9quate conduisant ainsi son centre de gravit\u00e9 \u00e0 s&rsquo;approcher des extr\u00e9mit\u00e9s de sa base de sustentation ou \u00e0 en sortir compl\u00e8tement.<\/p>\n<p>Les <b>perturbations externes<\/b> sont diff\u00e9rentes des perturbations internes.
