Abukhair est un homme de 34 ans qui s&rsquo;est pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 aux urgences \u00e0 la suite d&rsquo;une explosion, o\u00f9 il a \u00e9t\u00e9 projet\u00e9 \u00e0 environ 100 m du lieu de l&rsquo;explosion. Il \u00e9tait semi-conscient lorsqu&rsquo;il a \u00e9t\u00e9 amen\u00e9 aux urgences trois heures apr\u00e8s sa blessure, avec une perte de sang massive. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 imm\u00e9diatement admis \u00e0 l&rsquo;unit\u00e9 de soins intensifs apr\u00e8s une premi\u00e8re prise en charge conservatrice.\n<\/p>\n<p>Lors de l&rsquo;examen, un CT scan de la t\u00eate n&rsquo;a rien r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 d&rsquo;anormal, mais des radiographies AP, lat\u00e9rales et obliques ont confirm\u00e9 des fractures multiples : fracture d\u00e9plac\u00e9e du bassin, fractures bilat\u00e9rales du f\u00e9mur et fracture du tibia gauche. L&rsquo;examen neurovasculaire du patient \u00e9tait normal.\n<\/p>\n<p>Pendant son s\u00e9jour aux soins intensifs, son traitement incluait :\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Des transfusions sanguines<\/li>\n<li>La pose de clous intram\u00e9dullaires (IM) sur les deux f\u00e9murs<\/li>\n<li>Une fixation externe du tibia gauche<\/li>\n<li>Un traitement conservateur des fractures du bassin<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\nApr\u00e8s 18 jours aux soins intensifs, M. Abukhair a \u00e9t\u00e9 transf\u00e9r\u00e9 en orthop\u00e9die. Un repos au lit a \u00e9t\u00e9 conseill\u00e9 pendant six semaines, en raison de la fracture du bassin, aucun mouvement n&rsquo;\u00e9tant autoris\u00e9 au niveau de l&rsquo;articulation de la hanche.
