Die <a href=\"\/Diabetic_Neuropathy\" title=\"Diabetic Neuropathy\">Diabetische Neuropathie<\/a> tritt h\u00e4ufig bei Patienten mit Diabetes mellitus auf. Eine schwerere PN f\u00fchrt zu einer Beeintr\u00e4chtigung oder einem Verlust der Sensibilit\u00e4t im Fu\u00df. Bleibt dieser Sensibilit\u00e4tsverlust unbehandelt, f\u00fchrt er zu einer Gewebe- und Hautsch\u00e4digung \u00fcber Bereiche des Fu\u00dfes mit kn\u00f6chernen Vorspr\u00fcngen, was schlie\u00dflich zu einer Wundbildung f\u00fchrt. Au\u00dferdem kann eine PN zu kleineren Sch\u00fcrf- oder Schnittwunden f\u00fchren. Anf\u00e4nglich kann der Patient \u00fcber ein intermittierendes, handschuh- oder sockenf\u00f6rmiges Gef\u00fchl des &#8222;Schmerzes&#8220; oder &#8222;Kribbelns&#8220; berichten. Die sensible Neuropathie schreitet vom Verlust der oberfl\u00e4chlichen Empfindung \u00fcber den Verlust der sch\u00fctzenden Empfindung (Loss of Protective Sensation \u2013 LOPS) bis hin zum vollst\u00e4ndigen Verlust der Empfindung fort. Ein vollst\u00e4ndiger Verlust der Empfindung birgt f\u00fcr den Patienten ein hohes Risiko von Gewebeverletzungen und -sch\u00e4den.<sup id=\"cite_ref-:2_1-2\" class=\"reference\"><a href=\"#cite_note-:2-1\">(1)<\/a><\/sup><\/li>\n<li><b>Motorische Neuropathie <\/b>. Eine motorische Neuropathie \u00e4u\u00dfert sich in Schw\u00e4che, Koordinationsverlust oder fehlender Propriozeption bei motorischen Aufgaben. Sie verursacht eine Atrophie der intrinsischen Fu\u00dfmuskulatur, die zu Zehendeformit\u00e4ten und einem erh\u00f6hten Druck auf die kn\u00f6chernen Vorspr\u00fcnge des Vorfu\u00dfes, der Ferse und der Mittelfu\u00dfk\u00f6pfe f\u00fchrt. Dieser erh\u00f6hte Druck f\u00fchrt zu Schwielen, Blasen und schlie\u00dflich zu offenen Wunden, insbesondere in Verbindung mit einer sensiblen Neuropathie. Schwere motorische Neuropathien k\u00f6nnen zu einer Fu\u00dfheberschw\u00e4che (Fallfu\u00df) f\u00fchren.<sup id=\"cite_ref-:2_1-3\" class=\"reference\"><a href=\"#cite_note-:2-1\">(1)<\/a><\/sup><\/li>\n<li><b>Autonome Neuropathie <\/b>. Die autonome Neuropathie betrifft das Integumentsystem (Haut), das kardiovaskul\u00e4re System, das gastrointestinale System und das Urogenitalsystem. Zu den klinischen Symptomen geh\u00f6ren: fehlendes Schwitzen, Haarausfall, Verdickung der N\u00e4gel, stark ausgetrocknete Haut. Extreme Hauttrockenheit kann zur Bildung von Rissen in der Haut f\u00fchren, die als Eintrittspforte f\u00fcr Bakterien dienen. Es besteht ein Zusammenhang zwischen (1) Muskelschw\u00e4che und (2) eingeschr\u00e4nkter Gelenkbeweglichkeit und der Entstehung von Fu\u00dffehlstellungen. Es scheint laut den Autoren jedoch kein eindeutiger Zusammenhang zwischen der Entstehung von Fu\u00dffehlstellungen und (1) Atrophie der intrinsischen Fu\u00dfmuskulatur, (2) Muskelungleichgewicht und
