Jeder Muskel besteht aus drei Schichten, die von oberfl\u00e4chlich zu tief folgenderma\u00dfen gegliedert sind:<sup id=\"cite_ref-:0_3-0\" class=\"reference\"><a href=\"#cite_note-:0-3\">(3)<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mm. intercostales externi<\/li>\n<li>Mm. intercostales interni<\/li>\n<li>Mm. intercostales intimi<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Die Interkostalnerven (Nn. intercostales) stammen meist von den vorderen \u00c4sten der <a title=\"Thoracic Spinal Nerves\" href=\"\/Thoracic_Spinal_Nerves\">Spinalnerven T1 bis T11.<\/a><sup id=\"cite_ref-:0_3-1\" class=\"reference\"><a href=\"#cite_note-:0-3\">(3)<\/a><\/sup> Zusammen mit der Arteria intercostalis und der Vena intercostalis verl\u00e4uft jeder dieser Nerven zwischen den mittleren und tiefen Schichten der Interkostalmuskeln. Die Interkostalnerven T7 bis T11 verlassen die Thoraxwand und treten in die Bauchwand ein, um das Bauchfell (Peritoneum) zu innervieren.<sup id=\"cite_ref-:1_4-0\" class=\"reference\"><a href=\"#cite_note-:1-4\">(4)<\/a><\/sup> Sie versorgen:<sup id=\"cite_ref-:1_4-1\" class=\"reference\"><a href=\"#cite_note-:1-4\">(4)<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a title=\"Ribs\" href=\"\/Ribs\">Rippen<\/a> und Rippenknorpel<\/li>\n<li>Interkostalmuskeln (alle Schichten)<\/li>\n<li>Rippenfell (Pleura parietalis), das die Innenseite der Brusth\u00f6hle auskleidet und das <a title=\"Zwerchfell - Anatomie und Differenzialdiagnose\" href=\"\/Diaphragm_Anatomy_and_Differential_Diagnosis\">Zwerchfell (Diaphragma)<\/a>, den Herzbeutel (Perikard) und die <a title=\"Aorta\" href=\"\/Aorta\">Aorta thoracica<\/a> einschlie\u00dft<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Aufgrund dieser gemeinsamen Innervation k\u00f6nnen sich Erkrankungen der Brustwand oder der Brusth\u00f6hle als <a title=\"Dermatomes\" href=\"\/Dermatomes\">dermatomale<\/a> Schmerzen tarnen, die von der Brustwirbels\u00e4ule auszugehen scheinen.<sup id=\"cite_ref-:1_4-2\" class=\"reference\"><a href=\"#cite_note-:1-4\">(4)<\/a><\/sup> Daher ist es von entscheidender Bedeutung, einen Patienten regelm\u00e4\u00dfig auf <a title=\"Eine Einf\u00fchrung in Red Flags bei ernsthaften Pathologien\" href=\"\/An_Introduction_to_Red_Flags_in_Serious_Pathology\">Red Flags<\/a> zu kontrollieren. Er gliedert sich in drei Teile:<sup id=\"cite_ref-:2_6-0\" class=\"reference\"><a href=\"#cite_note-:2-6\">(6)<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a title=\"Iliocostalis Cervicis\" href=\"\/Iliocostalis_Cervicis\">M. iliocostalis colli<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Iliocostalis Thoracis\" href=\"\/Iliocostalis_Thoracis\">M. iliocostalis thoracis<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Iliocostalis Lumborum\" href=\"\/Iliocostalis_Lumborum\">M. iliocostalis lumborum<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Der M. iliocostalis lumborum hat seinen Ursprung am Beckenkamm (Crista iliaca) und setzt an den lumbalen Querforts\u00e4tzen L1 bis L4, den Winkeln der Rippen (Anguli costae) 4 bis 12 und der thorakolumbalen Faszie an. Die Ans\u00e4tze von M. iliocostalis colli und thoracis reichen bis zu den oberen 6 Rippen und den Querforts\u00e4tzen von C4.<sup id=\"cite_ref-:2_6-1\" class=\"reference\"><a href=\"#cite_note-:2-6\">(6)<\/a><\/sup> Der M. iliocostalis verbindet also eine lumbopelvine Dysfunktion mit einer thorakalen Dysfunktion.
