Hicks beschrieben. Im Wesentlichen handelt es sich um: &#8222;eine Eins-zu-Eins-Kopplung zwischen der Dorsalextension des Zehengrundgelenks und der Erh\u00f6hung des medialen L\u00e4ngsgew\u00f6lbes.&#8220;<sup id=\"cite_ref-:3_5-0\" class=\"reference\"><a href=\"#cite_note-:3-5\">(5)<\/a><\/sup> Auf der Grundlage eines technischen Konzepts zum Heben von Gewichten \u00fcber ein Flaschenzugsystem stellte Hicks fest, dass sich bei der Extension der Zehen die <a title=\"Aponeurosis\" href=\"\/Aponeurosis\">Plantaraponeurose<\/a> anspannt. Dadurch werden die Mittelfu\u00dfk\u00f6pfchen in Richtung des Fersenbeins (Os calcaneum) gezogen, wodurch sich das <a title=\"Arches of the Foot\" href=\"\/Arches_of_the_Foot\">L\u00e4ngsgew\u00f6lbe<\/a> erh\u00f6ht.<sup id=\"cite_ref-:3_5-1\" class=\"reference\"><a href=\"#cite_note-:3-5\">(5)<\/a><\/sup> Dieser Vorgang findet auf nat\u00fcrliche Weise bei der Abdruckphase im <a class=\"mw-redirect\" title=\"Gait Cycle\" href=\"\/Gait_Cycle\">Gangzyklus<\/a> statt, wenn die Zehen in Dorsalextension gehen und der Fu\u00df steifer wird, um den Vortrieb zu unterst\u00fctzen.
