href=\"#cite_note-:2-2\">(2)<\/a><\/sup> Das Kernsymptom der Zerebralparese ist eine motorische Funktionsst\u00f6rung, aber auch andere assoziierte Funktionsst\u00f6rungen, darunter kognitive, kommunikative, sensorische, perzeptive und Verhaltensst\u00f6rungen sowie Epilepsie, treten h\u00e4ufig auf.<sup id=\"cite_ref-3\" class=\"reference\"><a href=\"#cite_note-3\">(3)<\/a><\/sup> Obwohl die Zerebralparese nicht fortschreitend ist, entwickeln sich im Laufe der Zeit oft sekund\u00e4re Erkrankungen, die die funktionellen F\u00e4higkeiten beeintr\u00e4chtigen.<sup id=\"cite_ref-:0_4-0\" neonatalen Gehirn zur\u00fcckzuf\u00fchren, aber auch nach der Geburt kann eine CP auftreten. Die wichtigsten pathologischen Befunde bei Fr\u00fchgeborenen sind intrazerebrale Blutungen und periventrikul\u00e4re Leukomalazie (d.h. &#8222;diffuse Sch\u00e4digung der tiefen wei\u00dfen Hirnsubstanz, die in ihrer schwersten Form von fokalen Nekrosen begleitet wird&#8220;).<sup id=\"cite_ref-5\" class=\"reference\"><a href=\"#cite_note-5\">(5)<\/a><\/sup> Verletzungen, die nach der Neugeborenenperiode und vor dem 5. Lebensjahr auftreten, werden als &#8222;postneonatale CP&#8220; bezeichnet. Vor dem zweiten Lebensjahr k\u00f6nnen Zeichen und Symptome, die auf eine CP hindeuten, auch eine Entwicklungsverz\u00f6gerung sein, die sich bei vielen S\u00e4uglingen wieder aufl\u00f6st. Die Diagnose einer CP basiert gr\u00f6\u00dftenteils auf klinischen Befunden. F\u00fcr eine Fr\u00fcherkennung ist eine Kombination aus Befunden erforderlich, darunter Anamnese, neuromotorische Untersuchungen und Magnetresonanztomographie (MRT, zur Bestimmung des Ausma\u00dfes der Hirnl\u00e4sion oder angeborenen Fehlbildung des Gehirns).
