Sie werden von Regierungen und der Gesellschaft eingesetzt, um Strategien und Ma\u00dfnahmen zu entwickeln, die den Bed\u00fcrfnissen von Menschen gerecht werden, die aufgrund von Gesundheitsproblemen, Krankheiten oder Verletzungen Funktionseinbu\u00dfen haben. Diese Modelle werden im Gesundheitswesen verwendet, um Entscheidungen in der klinischen Praxis zu organisieren. Somit wird eine gemeinsame Sprache unter den Angeh\u00f6rigen der Gesundheitsberufe geschaffen und eine auf den Patienten ausgerichtete und ganzheitliche Gesundheitsversorgung erleichtert.<sup id=\"cite_ref-:0_1-1\" class=\"reference\"><a href=\"#cite_note-:0-1\">(1)<\/a><\/sup> Behindertenmodelle sind ein wichtiger Bestandteil der evidenzbasierten Praxis. Eine evidenzbasierte Praxis umfasst das Fachwissen der Kliniker, die Evidenz aus der Forschung sowie die Pr\u00e4ferenzen und Werte der Patienten. Es ist von entscheidender Bedeutung, die Evidenz aus der Forschung und die Werte der Patienten in das Versorgungsmodell zu integrieren.
